Buck the Talking Stag

BuckTalkingStag.jpg
Ok, enough eulogising, let's get down to the nitty gritty. Buck, aside from looking 'stag'geringly (groan) realistic and being near to life size, is so much more than a talking stag. Though of course being a talking stag is no mean feat in itself. Oh no, he doesn't just talk (and sing by the way, but more on that later), he talks with YOUR voice! Yes, he comes with a cordless microphone - you wander off behind the door, talk into the mic, and he not only talks in your voice, but using 'Syncro-Motion', he speaks and moves his head in synchronisation with your words! Smile Helmet

SmileHelmet.jpg
A helmet for people in jobs which demand an unusual amount of smiling, such as air-stewards, receptionists and politicians. A sensor in the front of the helmet detects anybody within a 2 metre range, at which point the mouth is pulled into a broad grin by a small servo motor and some concealed fishing wire. The helmet addresses the facades of social interaction and explores our responses to affected expressions. It is modelled here by Brendan Walker. [movie]

Trimming Digital Camera : A.PIX

aPix.jpg
The a.Pix camera is designed around Hulger’s questioning of technology’s push for more and more complex objects. Digital technology is supposed to make taking pictures easier, but today’s cameras have a dizzying array of features most will never use. The ability to take an unlimited number of pictures at no cost has negated our respect for an image’s composure. With a finite amount of memory and an unlimited number of shooting configurations, a.Pix makes taking pictures simple and thought provoking.

TMX Tickle Me Elmo

tmxElmo.jpg
Sit T.M.X. Elmo down and hit one of his three "tickle" spots. There's one under his chin, one on his belly, and one on top of his foot. Yes, this Elmo wiggles just like he did 10 years ago, but that's just the start. Elmo slaps his belly, falls forward with his butt sticking out, stands back up again only to topple backwards, kicks his legs over his belly, and then stands right back up, all while laughing hysterically.
